Unveiling CozyPlace 2.0
Life & Business in Singapore
It’s been a wild 4 years since we started CozyPlace….Nigel and i became closer as brothers from working together.
It’s nice to know your brother is your ride-or-die.
Running a small business in Singapore is definitely challenging. There is increasing pressure from rising rents, staff costs and competition.
Life and business has a way of taking over admist the daily fire-fighting.
With 4 outlets, there is ALWAYS a problem errry day.
Next thing you know, blogging and writing take a backseat.
Moving forward, i would love to use this blog as a platform to share my thoughts and feelings of running a small business called CozyPlace in Singapore.
So do look forward to more blog posts….

Despite everything, our mission still remains the same since day 1…..
To create the COZIEST Private Movie Room Experience in Singapore.
That is why we’re proud to unveil CozyPlace 2.0
We just made CozyPlace COZIER.

How we make CozyPlace COZIER
it’s simple really…Nigel is a BEAST when it comes to interior design and has OCD for cleanliness.
and me? I’m BIG on scent and service.
We gave the entire outlet a refresh. Fresh coat of paint and a deep cleaning, renovated our toilet.
More importantly, these are what we did to the rooms
More ambient warm lighting
Fluffier pillows and blankets
IMPROVED cleaning process (this is a BIG one)
NEW signature scent
Lighting is EVERYTHING
Small ambient lighting makes a BIG change to the vibes and feel of a room.
We added 3 more small sources of warm light for each room.
Fluffy Pillows and Sofa
We restuff our bespoke sofa so all the cushions are nice and FLUFFY. We added fluffier pillows as well.
IMPROVED cleaning process
CLEAN = Cozy. That is our motto. We still believe that. We made cleanliness our KEY experience in CozyPlace.
so we added steam cleaning, new soap, deep sofa extraction cleaning and a washing machine/dryer for every outlet to clean the pillows and blankets.
NEW Signature Scent
We’ve worked with a scent company to produce our signature scent. Also, a new method of delivery. The regular steam diffuser most people use at home is NOT good.
It uses diluted essential oil in water and that means the first hour is exceptionally strong while the rest of the steam is weak scented.
We now use a HVAC system for more consistent control over the scent.

Finishing Thoughts
We are only done with Bukit Timah but our plan is to make the changes to all our outlets so do give us some time.
We still have many more things we want to work on and introduce in CozyPlace so do stay updated!
